Your passcode derives a key with Argon2id, on your device. Files and fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before upload. What we store can't be read without you.
A recovery kit, by design
There's no password-reset back door — that's the cost of real encryption. At setup you save a 24-word recovery phrase, and Sherpsy makes you prove you wrote it down.
In Case of Emergency
Designate contacts who can request access. A request starts a visible 48-hour countdown that any admin can deny at any time. Alarming, on purpose — and every step is written to an immutable log.
Losing the recovery phrase is unrecoverable, by design. We'll remind you to keep it somewhere safe.
