Terms of Service
Last updated: template — pending legal review.
By using Sherpsy, you agree to these terms. Plain language first; the specifics follow.
Your account
You sign in with a supported provider and are responsible for keeping that account secure. A household admin manages members and billing. Roles determine what each member can see and do.
Acceptable use
Use Sherpsy for your own household. Don't attempt to access other households' data, disrupt the service, or use it to harass or defraud others. The lending handshake requires the other party's explicit acceptance — no unsolicited entries.
The vault and recovery
The Vital Vault is end-to-end encrypted. If you lose your passcode and your 24-word recovery phrase, your vault cannot be recovered — by you or by us. That is the cost of real encryption, and you accept it when you create a vault.
Recall and maintenance information
Recall data comes from NHTSA and the CPSC and may be incomplete or delayed. Estimated mileage and due dates are estimates. Sherpsy is a planning tool, not a guarantee of safety or compliance — confirm important items with the manufacturer or a professional.
Subscriptions
Paid plans renew until cancelled. On iOS, billing is handled by the App Store under its terms. You can cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period.
Changes and termination
We may update the service and these terms; we'll flag material changes. You can stop using Sherpsy and delete your account at any time.
